If you’re like me, you’ll absolutely love the challenge of managing lower down the leagues. Finance management becomes imperative to the club’s survival, player scouting is tougher, and managing in the lowest leagues is always a fresh challenge.
Unfortunately on Football Manager 21, the lowest level in England you can manage is the Vanarama North/South, but now we have an English lower league download that massively increases the playable clubs and leagues, taking it right down to amateur level.
Steam Workshop creator Sangu Blu has dropped the download that adds Regional and County Leagues to Football Manager 21, so you can now fulfil your dream of managing your local team on FM21 and taking them all the way to the Premier League.
As it’s a new add-on, there may be a couple of bugs, with a couple of players reporting issues with the Papa John’s Trophy. But I’ve used this database for my save with my hometown club Skelmersdale United and it worked pretty well. And I can confirm it’s a LOT of fun.
You can download the English Lower Leagues – 1004 Clubs, 10 League Levels, Regional and Counties HERE.
Once you’ve downloaded the file, you need to add it to your editor data folder. That can be found in Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2021 > Editor Data.
Then when you start a new save make sure you’ve selected the database. And you’re done.
Good luck on your non-league journey, lads.

Run meme pages and this website. But spend far too much time on Football Manager to do either very well.
