One of the best things about a major international tournaments is the emergence of of young players who before the competition had been relatively unknown.
Euro 2020 (or 2021 as it proven to be) has seen a number of hot prospects make a name for themselves, so we thought we’d take a look at the best youngsters from Euro 2020 on Football Manager 21.
Best Youngers from Euro 2020 on Football Manager 21
Alexander Isak

Alexander Isak was Sweden’s stand out player in the opening game against Spain, with the 20-year-old proving to be a thorn in the side of the Spanish every time he got the ball.
At 6’3 with 16 pace, Isak is a handful, and if you’ve watched him in Euro 2020, you will not be surprised at all by his 16 technique or 17 acceleration.
If Haaland is out of your budget, Isak is a wonderkid that’ll cost much less and while he may not quite reach the level of Haaland, he won’t be a million miles off.
Manuel Locatelli

Sassuolo have a few players looking to make a name for themselves this summer, and Manuel Locatelli has done just that. One of the competition’s best performers, and Locatelli’s Football Manager 2021 stats show that this isn’t just a purple patch in form. Manuel Locatelli is the real deal.
Available for around £28 million, Locatelli can become a world class midfielder.
Denzel Dumfries

Dumfries has been energetic and a relentless attacking threat down the right hand side for the Dutch in Euro 2020, and in Football Manager 2021, Dumfries is a very smart signing for top half Premier League sides.
Roman Yaremchuck

One of Ukraine’s stand out performers. The 24 year old managed to get himself on the scoresheet against Holland and has looked a very solid striker.
Yaremchuk’s Football Manager 21 ratings are solid, but unspectacular.
Pedri

Though Spain have struggled so far in Euro 2020, one thing is clear – their teenage sensation Pedri is going to be a world class footballer. The 17-year-old has broken in to the Barcelona team, and will be a mainstay in the international team for many years to come.
Mikkel Damsgaard

A special goal from a special young player. Damsgaard’s young career reached new heights when he curled in a worldie against Russia in the final group game.
Damsgaard is new to Sampdoria, so you’ll have to wait if you want to sign him. But he’s worth the wait. Versatile and very well rounded stats.

Run meme pages and this website. But spend far too much time on Football Manager to do either very well.
