What is a NewGen on Football Manager?
It’s fairly simple, actually. The game starts with thousands of real life footballers. But what happens when they retire? Well, to keep the game running, it needs fresh young players to take over. And that’s exactly what a NewGen player is. A generated player that comes into the game once a real player retires.
Our friends at Sports Interactive made a unique announcement on their Twitter. One of us can now have our very own NewGen in Football Manager 21. A dream come true for Football Manager fans around the world.
Sports Interactive has teamed up with UK-based charity SpecialEffect, which uses gaming and technology to improve the lives of people living with disabilities.
Whoever bids the most on eBay will win this rare opportunity.

The winner of this auction will appear in Football Manager as a computer-generated youth player, featuring a wealth of authentic biographical information including name, date of birth, weight, height, nationality, position, favoured foot and favourtie club.
At the time of writing, the highest bid is £570, so it won’t come cheap. But it’s going to a good cause, so put your hands in your pockets lads.
